WordPress Goldmine is another course that I am still currently taking that has been extremely beneficial to me when it comes to furthering my education as an internet marketer. Mark Thompson, the crea ter of WordPress Goldmine, is very hands on, which is very unusual these days in internet marketing courses. He has been an internet marketer full time for the last four years. I have learned from many of the internet marketing experts online, and Mark is one the few that I really trust.

The structure of the course is a forum, consisting of a number of sections covering various aspects of internet marketing. Each month, Mark creates a series of videos targeting a specific theme. Examples in recent months include advanced article marketing, product creation, outsourcing, and leveraging your articles. These are some of the most important parts of internet marketing.

Included with the forum is an ebook, explaining the step by step process of setting up a WordPress site. I use WordPress exclusively to build sites, it is simply the most effective and easiest blog platform on the market. He covers just about everything you need to know to get started earning money from websites.  He provides valuable information on how to find good domains, the best ways to get traffic, and how to find the right niches.

By far however, the best part of the course is the interaction with other members in the course. The best way to learn, aside from gaining personal experience yourself, is to learn from others just like you and me who are also trying to earn a full time income online.

The forum provides a great medium for the members to exchange ideas. Also, many members will post their experiences about a marketing method or technique, and whether it worked or not. This type of information is invaluable, and can save you a lot of time as you can then avoid making a lot of mistakes. There is always someone there to answer any questions that you may have, and many times Mark will chime in and give his perspective.

One of the areas of internet marketing that I always wanted to take advantage of was selling products at Christmas. Mark provides excellent tips on where to find products, what types of sites to build, and how to market them.

If you are wondering what the downside to the course is, to me it is having to pay monthly. I was fortunate enough to sign up for the course when it was a one-time payment. However, it is only $19.97 a month, I currently pay $97 a month for Affiliate Classroom. That doesn’t sound so bad when you compare the two.

The content is constantly being updated, so paying monthly isn’t the end of the world when you consider the value you are receiving. In my opinion, you must invest in your education online since the business is constantly changing and there is a lot to learn before you can begin to start earning money consistently. At the end of the day, the course pays for itself and then some, and you are getting a first class education in internet marketing.

How does this compare to Profit Lance ? I believe WordPress Goldmine is better overall, since it teaches how to build websites, which is what was lacking from Profit Lance .  Profit Lance may provide more content overall, but it lacks a forum where members can interact. However, Profit Lance is only a one time payment, so if that suits you better you can’t go wrong with that course either.

At the end of the day, if I could only recommend one course to you, WordPress Goldmine would be it.
